Ham Holiday

Each year since 1974, CORA has operated the Oklahoma City hamfest called Ham Holiday. A hamfest is like a conference for amateur radio operators. Ours happens each year on the fourth weekend in July at the Oklahoma City Community College. This year, Ham Holiday will be held on July 28th and 29th, 2023.

Ham Holiday usually draws dozens of amateur radio vendors and about 140 flea market tables. National manufacturers like Icom, Yeasu, and West Mountain Radio attend to show off their latest wares. A number of radio vendors like D & L, Derby Radio Shack, and Associated Radio bring in all kinds of equipment to buy. The Coaxman and his crew come over to sell coax, antenna wire, and connections. Lots of other vendors bring in antennas, connectors, batteries, and more.

Our hamfest is typically an ARRL-sanctioned state or section event. We usually see our West Gulf Division Director, the Oklahoma Section manager, and more ARRL leaders.

Much more information is available on the HamHoliday.com website.
