Ham Holiday

Each year since 1974, CORA has operated the Oklahoma City hamfest called Ham Holiday. A hamfest is like a conference for amateur radio operators. Ours happens each year on the fourth weekend in July at the Oklahoma City Community College. Ham Holiday will be held this year on July 25th and 26th, 2025.

Ham Holiday usually draws dozens of amateur radio vendors and about 140 flea market tables. Several radio vendors like D & L, B&H Sales (formerly Derby Radio Shack), and Associated Radio bring in all kinds of equipment to buy. Other vendors bring in antennas, connectors, batteries, and more.

Our hamfest is typically an ARRL-sanctioned state or section event. We usually see our West Gulf Division Director, the Oklahoma Section manager, and more ARRL leaders.

Much more information is available on the HamHoliday.com website.

ARDMORE HAMARAMA

Each year since 1948, the Ardmore Hamfest, called Texoma Hamarama, has happened on the fourth weekend in October at the Ardmore Conventions Center. A hamfest is like a conference for amateur radio operators. This year, Texoma Hamarama will be held on October 26th, 2024. Hamarama usually draws dozens of amateur radio vendors and about 80 flea market tables. Radio vendors like MTC bring in all kinds of equipment to buy. Many other vendors bring in antennas, connectors, batteries, and more. We usually see our West Gulf Division Director, the Oklahoma Section manager, and more ARRL leaders.

Much more information is available on the Hamarama.org website.
