On-the-air nets are scheduled times when hams meet on the radio. These nets are managed by a net control operator who controls the flow of traffic on the frequency. If you want to be involved in one of these nets, wait for the control operator to ask for check-ins, and follow the instructions that are given. The nets are a great way to practice your on-the-air skills and to meet other local hams. All times listed are local (Central) times.
